What we do to a refurbished container

A refurbished container starts as a used cargo-worthy or wind & water tight unit. Before it goes on the truck:

Repair

Holes and weak spots are patched and welded, floorboards are replaced where soft, and door hinges, locking bars and gaskets are made to work and seal.

Prep and paint

Surface rust is ground back and primed, then the exterior is repainted in a single colour — grey, blue, green, tan or a colour you specify.

Inspect

Roof, floor, doors and seals are checked for water-tightness. What you get is a dry, lockable, one-colour container; small dents and light floor staining can remain.

Best for

Storefronts and businesses where a weathered box would look wrong, HOA-sensitive backyards, and buyers who want the look of newer without paying for one-trip.

A used cargo-worthy or wind & water tight container that has been repaired where needed — patched holes, replaced floorboards, working doors and seals — and repainted in a single colour. It gives you the look of a newer container at a used-container price.

+Is a refurbished container as good as new?

No, and it is not priced like one. Structurally it is a sound used container that has been repaired and checked water-tight; cosmetically it has fresh paint, but small dents and light floor staining can remain. If you need factory condition, choose a one-trip container.

+Can I choose the paint colour?

Yes. Grey, blue, green and tan are the usual choices, and we can match a colour you specify. Tell us the colour with your size and ZIP and it is included in the delivered quote.

+Is a refurbished container watertight?

Yes. Roof, floor, doors and seals are repaired and checked before delivery so the container keeps rain and wind out. Condensation is a separate matter and is handled with vents or insulation, which we can add before delivery.

+How long does refurbishment take?

Refurbished units are prepared to order from used stock. Allow extra time compared with a standard used container — we confirm the lead time when we quote, before you commit.

+How much does a refurbished container cost?

It sits between a used and a one-trip container, and depends on size, the work needed and how far the truck drives.
