What “new one-trip” means on a 10ft
10ft containers are not shipped by ocean carriers as a standard size, so here is the honest version.
Built new, shipped once
A one-trip 10ft is built at the factory and carried to the U.S. on a single voyage, usually loaded inside the shipping system rather than as its own ocean unit. It arrives with factory paint, a lockbox and a clean floor.
Some are cut down from a 20ft
Because 10ft is not a standard ocean size, part of the market is made by cutting and re-ending a 20ft. We tell you which one you are buying before you commit — a modified end wall is not a defect, but you should know it is there.
Standard or high cube
Both are 10 ft long and 8 ft wide. The high cube adds one foot of interior height for shelving, lofts and tall equipment.
Best for
Side yards, small commercial lots, tool and equipment lock-ups, HOA-sensitive backyards, and any site where the truck has limited room.
10ft containers we deliver
Real units from recent deliveries, not stock renders.
What people use a 10ft container for
Backyard and side-yard storage
Fits where a 20ft will not. Garden equipment, bikes, tools and seasonal storage, locked and dry.
Job-site lock-up
A secure tool crib on tight urban sites and residential remodels where space is at a premium.
Small business overflow
Stock, records and equipment beside the shop, without renting more indoor square footage.
Conversions
Offices, studios and kiosks where the finished footprint has to stay small. Doors, windows, vents and electrical are fitted before delivery.
What our customers say
Real reviews from our Google Business Profile & Facebook. Read our Google reviews →
On the way back from picking up parts we finally stopped by since we drive past it a lot. Solid spot — the guy working was super helpful and got us in and out quick with the container we needed. Prices seemed fair compared to what everyone else charges online.
A Google UserWorked over a weekend to get us a modified shipping container ahead of schedule at a reasonable price. This company is the best!
