Ask any seller which grade a quote refers to before comparing two prices.

Cargo worthy (CW)

Inspected and certified fit to carry cargo again. Sound structure, solid floor, sealing doors; dents and weathered paint are normal.

Wind & water tight (WWT)

Keeps rain and wind out but is not cargo certified. More rust and dents than CW, and the lowest price that still protects what is inside.

What we check before delivery

Watertight roof, hole-free floor, doors that close and seal, no structural rust. A unit that fails does not go on the truck.

Availability

45ft units move in smaller numbers than 40ft. Tell us your ZIP and timing and we confirm what is in stock before you commit.

+What condition is a used 45ft container in?

Cargo worthy units are certified fit to carry cargo again — sound structure, solid floor, sealing doors, with dents and weathered paint. Wind and water tight units keep rain out but are not cargo certified and show more rust and dents.

+Will a used 45ft container leak?

Not one we deliver. Roof, floor, doors and seals are checked before it leaves for your site. Condensation is a separate issue and is handled with vents or insulation, which we can fit before delivery.

+How much room do you need to deliver a 45ft container?

About 100 to 120 feet of straight, level clearance in front of the drop spot, plus room for the truck to turn in, and no low wires or branches over the path. Send a photo or site plan with your quote request and we confirm it before scheduling.

+Is a used 45ft cheaper than two used 20ft containers?

Usually yes per cubic foot, because you pay for one delivery instead of two. Two 20ft units are easier to place and resell, so the right answer depends on your site access more than on price.

+Can I see photos of the actual container?

Yes. Ask with your quote request and we send photos of the unit you would receive, not a stock image.

+How much does a used 45ft container cost?

It depends on grade and how far the truck drives, so we quote a delivered price for your ZIP rather than a list price. Enter your ZIP in the pricing box on this page, and we match any lower written quote for the same grade.
