Where you can put a container in Stockton
Stockton has a dedicated ordinance and it is unusually blunt. Stockton Municipal Code § 16.36.045, “Containerized storage units” covers any unmodified, stackable metal shipping container over 120 square feet used for accessory storage — which is every container we sell.

That is a narrower door than most cities. In practice, Stockton is an industrial-zone city for containers: if your parcel is zoned industrial you have the widest options, and if it is residential or commercial the container has to be tied to construction or a temporary permit.
